When I dust, I usually use my Amazon Basic microfiber rags. I have some in each bathroom and in the kitchen, so when I see a mess I can clean it up without finding all the supplies in a different part of the house.
However, sometimes, you need a little bit more cleaning power to clean up smudges and fingerprints than just a rag. This is why I made some homemade dusting spray.
I like to use all-natural ingredients as much as I can because I shouldn’t have to be afraid to clean around my young kids. They won’t be ingesting harmful chemicals with this recipe! It also does not leave a filmy residue like Lysol or Pledge sometimes do.
1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup water
2 tsp olive oil
(*Optional: 10 drops of essential oil – I used lemon)
Mix everything up in a spray bottle. Oil and water don’t mix, so you will have to shake it up occasionally when you are dusting to mix everything together.
I hope you love it as much as I do! Do you use any homemade cleaners for your home?
